Modern houses have been built at the Munyang and Phyongam farms in Koksan County of North Hwanghae Province and the Ryongpho and Jaktong farms in Poptong County of Kangwon Province.
The scenes of moving into new houses unfolded day after day in different parts of the country show the new appearance of the socialist rural areas provided thanks to the devoted efforts of the respectedComradeKim Jong Unfor the wellbeing of the people.
Ceremonies of moving into new houses were held on the spot.
Congratulatory addresses were made at the ceremonies attended by officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in the relevant areas. Then, licences for the use of houses were handed over.
The farmers began moving into new houses as congratulatory art performances and cheerful dance parties were given and villages were in a festive mood.
Officials visited the families of agricultural workers to congratulate them.
