Article Content

Japan continues to contaminate the sea with successive discharge of nuclear waste water. On December 4 the Tokyo Electric Power Company started discharging nuclear waste water of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant for the sixth time in the fiscal year of 2025. About 7 800 tons of contaminated water will flow into the sea by December 22. The Japanese authorities are going to discharge nearly 54 600 tons of contaminated water into the sea in this fiscal year. Japan’s discharge of nuclear waste water is provoking severe denunciation and criticism of the international community as an unethical crime threatening the lives and safety of mankind.
