The Haeju Tilery was inaugurated in South Hwanghae Province. The tilery is furnished with modern equipment to fully supply finishing building materials needed for regional and rural construction. Its completion has made it possible to mass-produce various kinds of coloured tiles and different sizes of coloured interlock tiles. Present at its inauguration ceremony held on the spot on December 11 were officials of the Party and power organs and those concerned in South Hwanghae Province, working people in Haeju City and employees of the tilery. At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the tilery. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
