New houses built in Sijung County

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place at the Yonghung Farm in Sijung County of Jagang Province. Present there were officials of the organs of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government in Jagang Province and Sijung County, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new houses. At the ceremony, an address was made and licences for the use of houses were handed over. And speeches were made there. Amid the cheerful dance party, officials of the Party and power organs visited new houses and shared joy with their owners. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper.
