A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on June 23 as regards the US’ military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities: The Democratic People's Republic of Korea strongly denounces the attack on Iran by the US which flagrantly violated the UN Charter with respect for sovereignty and noninterference in internal affairs as the basic principle and other international laws and regulations and violently trampled on the territorial integrity and security interests of a sovereign state. Opposing the threat and exercise of the force blocking the territorial integrity and political independence of a country in international relations is the purpose, principle and fundamental spirit of the UN Charter reflecting the general will of the international community.
