The newly-built Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Footwear Factory and the remodeled Pyongyang School Uniform Factory were inaugurated.
The completion of the factories equipped with modern production processes makes it possible to lay a solid foundation for supplying quality and well-designed seasonal footwear and uniforms to the students in the capital city on a regular basis.
Inauguration ceremonies of the factories were held on the spots on Nov. ２８.
Present at the ceremonies were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, working people and builders in the municipality and employees of the factories.
Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee, made inaugural addresses.
At the end of the ceremonies the participants looked round the factories.
