The Israeli authorities declared that it targeted the commanding personnel of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). The Foreign Ministry of Qatar emphasized that it would strongly cope with the air raid against the country, describing it as an infringement on its sovereignty and a threat to the safety of Qataris. Hamas announced that the air raid was mounted on the building where its delegation was discussing a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and that six persons were killed by it.
