Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the anti-Russian hysteria of Europe at a plenary meeting of the “Valdai” international discussion club on October 2. The European politicians are trying to avoid discord in Europe by making Russia their enemy and keep getting hysterical as if a war with Russians was near at hand, he said. They should not fly into anti-Russian hysteria but concentrate on their internal issues and care about their own business, he asserted. Some European countries are still attempting to inflict “strategic defeat” on Russia but the destiny of the plan has already been decided and even headstrong fools would gradually know it, he added. Saying that Europe which is constantly aggravating the situation is to blame for the continuance of the Ukrainian conflict, he stressed that Russia is watching the militarization being activated in Europe and would take an immediate countermeasure. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
