DPRK players continue to win gold medals at Asian Youth Games

DPRK players Pak Hae Yon and Kim Hyon I bagged gold medals at the women's weightlifting and wrestling events of the Third Asian Youth Games. Pak Hae Yon lifted 88kg in snatch (new record of the world juvenile championships, new record of the Asian youth championships and new record of the games) and 107kg in clean and jerk (new record of the world juvenile championships, new record of the Asian youth championships and new record of the games) in the women's 53kg category event held on October 28 and thus took the first place in snatch and clean and jerk respectively and won two gold medals. On the same day, DPRK wrestler Kim Hyon I took the first place in the women's 46kg category. Meanwhile, Yu Yong Hun was placed second in the 60kg category of freestyle wrestling and Jo Hyon Gyong came third in the 40kg category of women's wrestling.
