The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) sent a reply message to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on October 25. The WPK Central Committee expresses thanks to the CPV Central Committee for sending warm congratulations on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK. Expressing belief that the friendly relations between the two parties and the two countries with a long history and tradition will further develop as required by the times, we wish the Vietnamese people fresh success in their struggle to build a prosperous state under the leadership of the CPV. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
