The delegation carrying the letter of loyalty sent by the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea led by Ri Kwang Il, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, left Pyongyang by air on October 16. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
