The third ceremony for moving into new houses took place at the Phungthan Farm in Sunchon City of South Phyongan Province. Present at the ceremony held on the spot were Ri Kyong Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and agricultural workers in the city. Ri Song Bom, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech. Licences for the use of houses were handed over and speeches made there. After the ceremony, officials congratulated the owners of the new houses, sharing joy with them amid the playing of cheerful peasant music. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
