A delegation of the DPRK Ministry of Culture led by Minister Sung Jong Gyu left Pyongyang on September 5 to take part in the 11th St Petersburg international cultural forum. It was seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Pak Kyong Chol, vice-minister of Culture, and Vladimir Topeha, charge d’affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
