New modern houses have been built again at the Yaksan Farm in Songhwa County of South Hwanghae Province. The new cosy and picturesque village was built at the sunny foot of a mountain in harmony with the surrounding scenery. A ceremony of moving into new houses was held on the spot. Present there were officials of the province and the county, builders and farmers who were to move into the new houses. A speech was made there and licences for the use of houses were handed over. The county mobile artistic motivation team gave a congratulatory performance to be followed by a cheerful dance party, revving up the festive mood. Officials shared joy with the owners of new houses. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
