Modern dwelling houses have been built in Chilhyang-ri, Orang County, North Hamgyong Province, this year again after last year. Present at the ceremony of moving into new houses held on the spot were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county. Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an address at the ceremony. Then licences for the use of new houses were handed over to be followed by speeches. A congratulatory performance was given and moving into new houses began amid the playing of cheerful peasant music. Officials, builders and agricultural workers congratulated the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them in the new villages in a festive mood. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
