New houses have been built at the Honam Farm of the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, adding to the joy and optimism of the agricultural workers who have produced an abundant crop. A ceremony of moving into new houses took place on the spot on October 19. Present there were officials of the Workers’ Party of Korea and power organs in Pyongyang and Samsok District, builders and agricultural workers. At the meeting an address was delivered and licences for the use of houses were conveyed to be followed by speeches. Amid a congratulatory performance and cheerful dance party in the whole village, farmers began to move into new houses with great excitement. Officials visited agricultural workers with household goods and other things to share joy with them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
