New houses built at farms of South Hamgyong Province

Agricultural workers moved into new houses at the Hwangcho and Tonae farms in Jangjin County of South Hamgyong Province, a famous potato-producing county. Present at the ceremony for moving into new houses held on the spot were officials concerned and officials, builders and agricultural workers of Jangjin County. At the ceremony, an address was made and licences for the use of the houses were handed over to be followed by resolution-making speeches. An art performance and dance party were given and officials congratulated the owners of the new houses. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
