National exhibition of sci-tech achievements in field of public health opens

The National Exhibition of Sci-tech Achievements in the Field of Public Health-2025 opened with due ceremony at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on November 4. On display at the exhibition are more than 2 300 data on sci-tech achievements and over 1 850 kinds of medicines, medical appliances, health foods, hygiene products and health IT products presented by many units in the capital and local areas. Present at the opening ceremony were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, scientists, technicians and three-revolution team members. Jong Mu Rim, minister of Public Health, made an opening address. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
