The reclamation of the Sokhwa Tideland has been completed in the DPRK.

The reclamation was a huge project to build thousands of meter-long dykes from Sinmi-ri to Sokhwa-ri, Sonchon County of North Phyongan Province.

Soldier-builders completed the project for building the emptying-gate in two months and the project for interval plugging only in ten days.
